Gravity Forms v1.6 Release Candidate 4 Released

Oops! It appears some Javascript changes we had made in RC2 were reverted when we released RC3. We are going to have to blame SVN gremlins for this one. The good news is we have quickly corrected this issue quickly and Gravity Forms v1.6 Release Candidate 4 is now available for download.

If you experienced issues duplicating fields in RC3, this is why. Download and install the new Release Candidate 4 release and everything should be good to go going forward. You may need to delete and re-add any fields you duplicated while using the RC3 release. Alternatively you can export the form to XML and then import the form and that should also correct the issue, but it will create a new form.

As we mentioned with RC3, we are very close to a final release and are not anticipating anymore releases before the final public release if all goes well with this final Release Candidate.

Thank you to the users who have contributed bug reports, we look forward to continue receiving feedback from users who are participating in the testing.

Please provide beta feedback and bug reports on the Support Forum and make it clear you are referring to the 1.6 Release Candidate 4 release when doing so. Thanks!

    Hello.
I am trying out Gravity Forms v1.6 Release Candidate 4.

Here 's a bug: I created a drop-down box and populated it with a custon taxonomy. It works, but it ads "First Choice" (or whatever we write in that field) as an option.

This isn't necessarily a bug with the v1.6 Release Candidate, it's most likely related to how you are dynamically populating the drop down as custom taxonomies aren't integrated out of the box so you must have a customization implemented or are using a 3rd party add-on. I would suggest posting ont he support forum and describe your issue in detail, provide us with the custom code you have implemented using http://pastie.org and/or let us know any 3rd party Gravity Forms Add-Ons you may have installed. Keep in mind we don't provide support for 3rd party Gravity Forms Add-Ons.
